Ugly Green Smoothie Recipe for Health

I had so much fun with Diane Mizota of Spiritual Playground making this amazing green smoothie recipe with some stealthy healthy ingredients. Unlike other juices and smoothies you might buy in a store, you know that everything in this glass is good for you. But will our kids drink it? Watch and see.

Want to try? Here’s the recipe:

1 banana
1 1/2 cups organic kale
1/4 ripe avocado
1 tablespoon cacao nibs
1 cup chocolate almond milk
1 tablespoon sunflower butter
1 cup coconut water (feel free to substitute your milk of choice here)
1/2 cup of ice

Blend it up and you’re good to go any time of day, but this ugly green smoothie is especially great for breakfast!
