Mommy Greenest Approved: Weleda Age Revitalizing Evening Primrose Facial Care
I have a birthday coming up. I’m not going to share exactly what number I’m hitting, but let’s just say it’s a big one. As I approach said birthday, I’m noticing a few things changing in my world. Two of my three children have to bend down to hug me. Strangers routinely call me “ma’am.” But the biggest change? My skin is different. Drier. Less elastic. Even—dare I say it—downright saggy, in spots. I got help from Weleda’s new Age Revitalizing Evening Primrose Facial Care. Want to try? I’m giving it away!
Weleda tested Evening Primrose skincare on—ahem—“mature” women like me: 77% reported a more even complexion and 70% identified less puffiness. I’m sold! In the past, I avoided products for “mature” skin, because they made mine feel greasy. My skin is naturally oily, to the point that until recently I rarely used anything more than eye cream at night. But these days, I really notice a difference if I use the Weleda Evening Primrose range, especially the Age Revitalizing Night Cream and Eye and Lip Cream.
The Weleda range is made with evening primrose seed oil, gotu kola extract, inca nut oil and macadamia nut oil, which help moisturize and firm the skin. Like so many Weleda products, there is a distinctly aromatherapeutic benefit to the amazing natural fragrance, which is derived from pure essential oils of magnolia and sandalwood. It just smells beautiful—and makes you feel beautiful when you smell it.
As I’ve shared throughout the past year, when I discovered their Natural Deodorants and White Mallow Skin Care for babies with skin rashes or eczema, Weleda formulates to the highest standards. They’ve been creating sustainable, fair trade and truly natural products since 1921, using biodynamic, organic and certified wild ingredients whenever possible.
Let me tell you, this Night Cream is amazing! In the morning after using it, my skin is definitely firmer, more springy and more hydrated–not greasy. Want to try? My friends at Weleda gave me the entire Age Revitalizing Evening Primrose face and body range to give away to one lucky Mommy Greenest reader, totaling a whopping $181 in value. Enter here!
