Mommy Greenest Approved: Spa Heroes Beauty Subscription
I’ve been thinking a lot about beauty subscription services—you know, when you pay a fee and get a surprise package delivered to your doorstep each month? Subscriptions started with beauty, then the Honest Company started doing it with diapers—now people are even subscribing to get their razors! According to Forbes, subscription is the hottest trend since sliced bread. But subscribing means you have to trust the curator of the service to deliver products that you really want. And when it comes to a beauty subscription, there is no finer curator to trust than Jeannie Jarnot, a former spa director and the genius behind the brand-new Spa Heroes Beauty Subscription, which delivers truly natural beauty products at up to 60% off retail.
Spa Heroes Beauty Subscription boxes deliver truly natural beauty products at up to 60% off retail. THREE Mommy Greenest readers can nab one for free! I first discovered Spa Heroes when they launched their Pocket Guide, which categorizes ingredients as Superpower or Villain. It reminded me of the red flag ingredients that I go on about ad nauseum at Mommy Greenest, but presented in a much more charming way.
Spa Heroes monthly selections feature Superpower ingredients that support all skin types, such as green tea extract, vitamin C and hyaluronic acid. On the other hand, Villains—such as hydroquinone, propylene glycol and parabens—are never included in a Spa Hero delivery.
Jeannie also prioritizes organic and fair trade made products, such as those from Red Flower, a recent highlight. She gathered spa founders and directors to create a panel of “superheroes” who evaluate the products she chooses for her subscribers. These products are all first-run, and many are made fresh for Spa Heroes shipments. And unlike other services, Jeannie designed Spa Heroes to deliver only full-size products, which retail from $50 to $150.
Making that $39 subscription a very good deal, indeed.
Want to try? Enter here: THREE Mommy Greenest readers will win a Spa Heroes natural beauty product worth $50 or more!

probably a healthy food box delivery service, or a healthy beauty box if I were to pamper myself!

Natural beauty for sure! 🙂

My practical side knows that I’m most likely to subscribe to a service that would deliver toiletries like soap, toilet paper, etc. (It’s no fun running to the grocery store for those items.) A subscription to SpaHeros sounds amazing and would fall into the category of “dream subscription” for me. 😉

Fair trade is important to me, as is organic ingredients. I love trying new eco beauty products.

This looks like such a great subscription! I was JUST looking at a few subscription options-vegan cuts, goode box, etc when this email popped up. Good timing! Christmas is coming ; )
Rachel Sarnoff
Love Vegan Cuts and GoodeBox, too! Yes, Christmas this year might just be the gift that keeps on giving 🙂
Josie
Food for sure!

I wonder if there’s a monthly subscription club where you get a different type of box each month; chosen from an individual’s selection of many options…..spa items one month, wine the next, healthy snacks another….
Rachel Sarnoff
That is a GREAT idea!!!

These subscription boxes sound great. I remember when the make-up clubs first came out – you’d get a box of items once a month and I was able to try some brands that I might not have known about otherwise. Back then, all they had were one or two companies that had these. I’m beyond amazed at all the selections available now. I have received a number of PetBox subscription boxes for my dogs and want to try one for my cats. I would like to start getting something like the Spa Hero box for myself every month.

I subscribe to ipsy, but I’m thinking of switching to Petit Vour and/or Vegan Cuts since they only supply beauty products that are vegan and cruelty-free.

I’m most likely apt to subscribe to a healthy-living box or possibly a fitness box. I’m definitely health conscious 🙂
Thank you for this great giveaway!

My favorite boxes are the Eco-beauty boxes that are vegan and cruelty free: Eco Emi and Petit Vour!
Rachel Sarnoff
Ooh I will have to check those out! Thanks!
Dorothea
I’ve been considering a beauty subscription service, and I really like what I see at Spa Heroes’ web site!
Rachel Sarnoff
Yes, isn’t the site cute? I love the villains/superheroes theme.

This seems like a great service to sign up for. I’ve ordered a few other boxes, but none have really wowed me. A full size product appeals to me more than samples.
Rachel Sarnoff
I agree!
Alison Bramham
Might have subscribed to a diaper service if they had been available in our area.
Rachel Sarnoff
I hear you! Have you seen what Honest is doing with disposables?
jan
the truth serum in the subscription box is intriguing. I’d also subscribe to an organic, gmo free food box.
Rachel Sarnoff
Absolutely! Have you checked out a CSA? I wrote about a great one here: https://mommygreenest.com/cheap-organic-food-delivered-yes-really/
