Mommy Greenest Approved: MyPainAway After Burn Cream
Tis the season for burns. Whether you’re slaving over a hot grill or sitting in the hot sun–or both–chances are, you’ve experienced some sort of burn this summer. But many over-the-counter burn creams are chock full of parabens, petroleum byproducts and other red flag chemical ingredients, you may want to avoid them. Feeling the burn? I hear you. That’s why I was so excited to discover Topricin‘s new MyPainAway After Burn Cream, which helps soothe the skin and promote faster healing. Once I saw the before-and-afters, and knew I had to share. Want to try? I’ve got some to give away, of course!
The MyPainAway After Burn Cream utilizes traditional remedies to heal–it just combines them in a totally unique and powerful way. Formulated from a combination of 14 natural biomedicines in a moisturizing coconut oil base, the burn cream treats sunburn, windburn and other minor burns, as well as blisters, chaffing and itchy skin. Here’s the dramatic before-and-after shot of just how effective this burn cream can be after 24 hours.
Right? And like all Topricin products, the odorless, greaseless formula is free of parabens and petrochemicals, and absorbs almost immediately into the skin–as you can see from my video.
I’m a big fan of Topricin, which has been helping people with natural pain relief for more than a decade, and was recently awarded a patent for the treatment of pain associated with fibromyalgia and neuropathy. They prove that you don’t always need pharmaceuticals or products made with toxic chemicals to treat pain! And now that I’ve discovered MyPainAway After Burn Cream, I’m an even bigger supporter.

I’ve always used vinegar to soothe the pain, but this all-natural, after-the-burn cream sounds amazing!
Rachel Sarnoff
Wow is there nothing vinegar can’t do? I’ve never heard of this remedy. Thanks for sharing Dorothea!

Burts bees after sun is the best product I have found thus far!

I would love to try this out because I always get a sunburn at least once every summer, despite my best intentions not to! I often slather on a mixture of coconut oil, lavender, and tea tree, but I also just got an aloe plant and the fresh aloe juice/pulp seemed to work really well in fading my burn and minimizing peeling. Another natural remedy I love is calendula, but it can be hard to find in a formulation that has truly all natural ingredients. I am going to try making my own oil infusion someday with the dried calendula flowers.
Rachel Sarnoff
I love aloe, haven’t tried calendula, but the thing I love about this cream is it rubs in like a…cream 🙂 so no sticky residue!
Dinah Brown
This is so important. We all mistakenly get burned from time to time!

I know! My daughter did this weekend, and the AfterBurn cream fixed her right up!

What I’ve used in the past was fresh aloe gel right out of the leaf, very soothing!
Rachel Sarnoff
Yes that is wonderful. I love the way it smells, too 🙂

my fave remedy for sunburn is to filet an aloe plant, and create thin patches from the solid get, and lay those patches on the most severely burned parts, I rub the fresh aloe gel on the more minor burn areas.
Rachel Sarnoff
Hm, does that work on non burned skin I wonder? Like do you see any benefit in terms of collagen, etc…? Must investigate this! Thanks Becca 🙂
