Swedish researchers recently showed a simple and easy way to completely eliminate pesticides from your body, working with a family of five. In a matter of days, the family went from showing high levels of pesticides like 1,2,3-Trichloropropane–better known as TCP and classified as a “likely human carcinogen,” by the EPA–to registering no levels at all. How did they do it? The video tells all.
Initially, the family’s mother didn’t seem that interested in the outcome of the study, which was supported by Swedish grocery chain coop and conducted by the Swedish Environmental Research Institute. But when her family’s urine tested positive for insecticides, fungicides and plant growth regulators, she called the findings “disgusting.”
So you know where I’m going with this, right?
The only thing that can completely eliminate pesticides from your body is to eat completely organic food (which is, by the way, also GMO-free). And that’s just what these scientists gave to this family for three weeks, testing them every day.
But here’s the cool part: It didn’t take three weeks for the family to completely eliminate pesticides from their bodies. It didn’t even take a week. It took just a few days. That’s right: A long weekend of eating completely organic can completely eliminate pesticides.
And here’s what’s cooler. Initially, the mom went on record to say, “We don’t eat organic food because it costs more than conventional food, and we’re a big family.”
But by the end of the story, she had this to say: “When you hear this, you think about your children. There were a whole number of chemicals removed from my kids’ bodies. And I don’t want them back.”
She’s an activist now. And there’s no going back.
