via nature dry and sensitive skin care giveawayI am an excellent multitasker. I can juggle emails while editing reports, and text a conversation while in a meeting. (Shh… don’t tell.) But all this focus on better time management had me asking: Shouldn’t sensitive skin care be equally efficient? That question is answered by the new multi-tasking Sensitive & Dry Skin Facial Care Collection from Via Nature, which gave me two full sets of the dry and sensitive skin care line to give away, worth $149 each!

We’re all so focused on multitasking. Shouldn’t skin care be equally efficient? Yes! Enter to win amazing Via Nature sensitive & dry skin care, worth $149!

But, it IS dry and thus the typical chemical laden stuff out there often really irritates it rather than soothes it. In the past, I have used some things off the shelf that said they were for keeping the skin moisturized, and instead they gave me rashes and flaky skin. So, now, the way I manage my skin is to use something as organic and gentle as possible. I love finding new products to love also!! These sound super.

  56. I too, have sensitive skin. I don’t have any secrets…. I just choose products with little to no irritating ingredients and try not to over-wash or over-scrub my skin. I LOVE the Via Nature deodorant/body spray & I’m sure I’d love these facial products as well. I am most excited that the cleanser does not contain plastic microbeads.

  57. Ellen DeFrancesco says:

I’ve battled this my entire life. Would love to win!!!!!

I definitely have sensitive skin. Changing to more natural, no harsh chemicals, skin care has helped and using a toner helps as well. I really haven’t found a brand I absolutely love yet so I would love to win this set.

  59. I have very dry skin so its extremely sensitive to products and weather. I try to stick to a daily routine of cleansing and moisturizing to keep my skin clean and hydrated.

  60. My skin is more combination but it can get very red so people often think it’s sensitive. I use a face brush and brush gently every morning, and I wash and moisturize with oils, and use a gentle scrub every few days to slough away the dead skin.

  61. Fortunately, I do not have overly-sensitive skin, but I still use natural, gentle products.

  62. I do have sensitive skin. I have had to make many lifestyle changes. A huge one has been learning how to take showers that are WARM, not hot. This relieves a lot of the redness in my skin before I even put any products on. Products are a whole other story. First tip, eliminate products that list fragrance, or parfume. Huge stressor to sensitive skin!

  67. YES to seeing changes in skin as we get older! Sigh. I’ve been seeing sudden sensitive patches on my skin, which leaves me scrambling to figure out what to do for cleansing and moisturizing and made me realize I need to change up my products to accommodate my changing skin.

I’ve heard a ton about apple stem cells. This sounds like a wonderful line; I will be looking into it. Thanks for sharing about it!

  68. Marlene V. (Enelram) says:

I can occasionally have sensitive skin. I use products that are more natural then ones with chemicals.

  71. I use hydrocortisone to soothe the itch

  72. sometimes my eczema acts up. i find that coconut oil helps

  73. My skin is sensitive in that it has a lot of redness, and almost anything can cause an awful acne flareup even though I’m an adult. Recently I moved to a drier climate and I’ve been having a lot of skin and hair problems (such as I shower, go to sleep, wake up and my hair is already oily, or that while my nose is oily, the skin on it appears to be very dry and flaking off, and also acne) that will hopefully go away in a few weeks.

    • Rachel Sarnoff says:

Ouch, what a bummer! When I visit my family in New Mexico, I always have a problem with this, but my family who lives there is used to it so they don’t have those problems. Hopefully things will regulate for you soon!

  80. With my sensitive skin I used only natural products without harsh chemicals

  81. Yes, I have sensitive skin. I try to manage it by babying it – I’ve stopped using any kind of harsh cleaner, or anything with a long list of chemicals as ingredients.

  82. I have sensitive skin so I try to avoid harsh ingredients such as alcohol and artificial fragrances! I also make sure to always stay hydrated inside and outside!

  83. If I had to pick one thing I’ve always been terrible at, it’d have to be skincare. I had so much trouble with acne and rosacea in middle and high school, it was embarrassing to go to school. It’s cleared up quite a bit since then, but I still deal with redness (most likely due to sensitivity) and the occasional breakout at 31. And my skin is very rough, with large, noticeable pores. But honestly, as one of the previous commenters said, my best bet is just to leave it alone. The more I scrub or pat or apply things to it (natural or otherwise), the redder and more broken out it gets. Truth be told, I barely wash my face on a regular basis, just because I experience fewer issues that way. I may regret it when I’m 40 or 50, but for now, it’s a lot easier!

  84. I don’t have sensitive skin thankfully.

  85. I definitely have sensitive skin, so I try to use natural products that are fragrance-free!

  86. I guess we are all in the same sensitive skin boat! I have tried so many product lines, it can be really difficult to find things that work for your skin when so many ingredients can make you break out or cause rashes and irritation. I try to keep it simple and introduce new products slowly so I can watch for reactions.

  87. Christa Lopez says:

Yes, I have sensitive skin. It is difficult to manage sometimes.

  88. Have sensitive skin as well and would love to try their products.

Yes I have sensitive skin. I use all natural products and no makeup.

  93. No secret, avoid harsh chemicals and try to keep it organic. I try different products until I find something that works for me. Most importantly, I’m conscious of what I put in my body.

  99. Michele Powell says:

Even coconut oil and Argon make me break out. My skin itches 24/7 from scalp to eye lids to toes without exaggeration. Then I had to move and now I have to use well water so everything is so much worse AND my hair is destroyed as well. Sigh… sensitivity in an environment you can’t control basically sucks.

  103. Elizabeth B says:

Yes, I have sensitive skin! I have to be picky about the types of cleansers and beauty care products that I use on my skin. Certain brands are completely out of the question as they use harsh ingredients. It is very much a trial and error sort of thing beyond not purchasing products that have known irritants.

  104. Sensitive skin family here, would be nice to have something everyone can use!

  105. linnie gilbert says:

I do have sensitive skin and I only use sulfate free products on my body. I tend to break out very easily.
